Watercolour? I know, unusual for me !

I couldn’t help it. Inspired by so many birds on the lake in Abbey Fields asking me to pain them, I plumbed for the Blue Heron; what a majestic bird. Sitting patiently waiting for the moment to pounce.

I love the layering opportunity with watercolour. I’ve bought a 48 half pan tin from Sennelier which make this a complete joy.
